Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas The riper, the better for sweetness.
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Feel free to use flavored yogurt for added taste.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Optional, depending on your sweetness preference.
Optional Toppings
  • shredded coconut
  • crushed nuts
  • mini chocolate chips

Method

Preparation
  1. Peel and slice the bananas into thick rounds to ensure even freezing.
  2. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Dip each banana slice into the yogurt mixture, ensuring it's well-coated.
  4. If using toppings, sprinkle them on the yogurt-coated bananas while the yogurt is still wet.
  5. Place popsicle sticks into each banana slice.
  6. Arrange coated banana slices on a lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 2-4 hours, or until solid.
  7. Once frozen, remove the pops from the sheet and enjoy right away or store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

These banana pops can be stored in the freezer for about two weeks. Place in an airtight container, separating layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
