  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil Use quality sesame oil for authentic flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Can substitute with maple syrup if desired.
  • 2 cloves Fresh garlic, minced Fresh garlic is preferred for better flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, minced Use fresh ginger for enhanced flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds Toast them for extra flavor if desired.
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine chicken, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken.
  2. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  3. Reduce the heat, drizzle honey over the chicken, and stir until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.
  2. Serve over steamed rice or sautéed vegetables.

Notes

For additional nutrition, consider adding broccoli, bell peppers, or snap peas. You can also swap chicken for firm tofu for a vegetarian option. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
