Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil. Whisk until well blended.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a zip-top bag, and pour the marinade over them. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes to soak in the flavors.
Cooking
- While the salmon is marinating, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Arrange the marinated salmon on the baking sheet and pour any remaining marinade over the top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is flaky and cooked through.
Serving
- Once baked, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
Don't overcook the salmon. Aim for a temperature of 145°F (63°C) to ensure it's perfectly done. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
