Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skinless
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Can substitute with sesame oil for a richer flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, and minced garlic. Set aside a tablespoon of the marinade to use as a glaze later.
  2. Slice the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, ensuring they are evenly cut for consistent cooking.
  3. Place the salmon bites in a mixing bowl, and pour the marinade over them. Lightly toss to coat and let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated salmon bites in a single layer, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Drizzle the reserved marinade over the salmon bites in the last few minutes of cooking for an extra layer of flavor. Once done, remove from heat and transfer to a serving platter.

Notes

If you have leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator, and up to one month in the freezer. To reheat, place them in a skillet over low heat until warmed through.
