Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the slider buns in half. Place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
- Layer the deli meats evenly over the buns, followed by a layer of provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, and red onions.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning across the top of the filled buns, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the tops of the buns back on, ensuring everything is snug.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic, then brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
- Let cool for a minute before slicing and serving.
Notes
Feel free to substitute deli meats for grilled chicken or turkey for a healthier option. Consider adding a spread of pesto for flavor.
