Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced thinly feel free to swap with turkey for a different flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Wrap
  • low-carb tortillas (or lettuce for a lighter version)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup diced cucumber
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • Tzatziki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Optional Garnishes
  • Feta cheese crumbles
  • Fresh dill or parsley

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced chicken and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
Assembly
  1. Lay the low-carb tortilla flat. Start layering with shredded lettuce, cooked chicken, diced tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
  2. Generously drizzle tzatziki sauce over the fillings to add that creamy freshness.
  3. Tightly roll the tortilla, tucking in the sides to secure the filling. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For leftovers, store the assembled wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. You can reheat the chicken in a skillet and assemble fresh wraps to enjoy again, or store the ingredients separately for easier assembly later.
