Ingredients
  

Pasta and Chicken
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Can use olive oil for a lighter option.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Freshly grated recommended.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated recommended.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Making the Sauce
  1. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, bubbling gently for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, allowing them to melt and create a creamy sauce.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing it with the chicken and sauce until everything is well-coated and creamy.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stove over low heat with a splash of cream or milk for a creamy texture.
