Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows Use mini marshmallows for faster melting.
  • 3 cups rice cereal Can swap for crispy wheat cereal.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can replace with chopped nuts or dried fruit.
  • 1/2 cup butter Melt slowly to avoid burning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Decoration
  • to taste optional Sprinkles For festive decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until they are fully melted.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the rice cereal and stir until all the cereal is coated.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles on top.
  8. Let it cool and set for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Refrigerate for up to 1 week, or freeze for 1 month. Allow to come to room temperature before serving.
