- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until it’s browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat and set aside to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Fold in the cooked sausage, cubed bread, chopped vegetables, and cheese into the egg mixture until everything is coated.
- Lightly grease the slow cooker with cooking spray. Pour in the mixture, spreading it evenly.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the eggs are set and firm.
Serving
- Once it’s done, allow it to cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired!
Notes
