Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (any variety) Classic Oreos work best.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Reduced-fat cream cheese can be used.
  • 1 package white chocolate or red candy melts Dark chocolate can be substituted.
  • 1 cup blue sprinkles For decoration; look for festive options.
  • 1 package red candy melts Optional for drizzling.

Method

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreos in a mixing bowl using a food processor or zip-lock bag with a rolling pin until fine crumbs form.
  2. In another bowl, blend the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well combined and sticky.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll into balls, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the rolled balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.
Dipping and Decorating
  1. Melt the white chocolate or red candy melts according to package instructions until smooth.
  2. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Tap off excess chocolate.
  3. Immediately sprinkle blue decorations on top while the chocolate is still wet.
  4. If desired, melt red candy melts and drizzle over the coated balls for extra flair.
  5. Return the tray to the refrigerator to let the chocolate harden, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Once set, serve the Oreo balls on a platter.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. Let them thaw in the fridge before serving. Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature for easier mixing.
