Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unwrap 36 Hershey Kisses.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and peanut butter.
- Gradually add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Add the egg, milk, and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until the dough forms.
Baking
- Scoop dough using a cookie scoop and roll into balls.
- Place ¾ cup of granulated sugar in a shallow bowl and roll each dough ball in the sugar to coat.
- Place dough balls on a Silpat lined cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the oven, and press one Hershey Kiss in the center of each cookie.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 2 minutes.
- Transfer baked cookies to a cooling rack.
Notes
Serve at room temperature for best texture of chocolate. These cookies can also be packaged for gifts.
