  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls, quartered
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 cup prepared basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Preparation
  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cooled pasta with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh basil.
  4. Pour the prepared pesto over the pasta and gently stir until everything is well coated.
  5. Taste the salad and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  6. If desired, drizzle some balsamic glaze over the salad just before serving.

Notes

For variations, try adding grilled chicken for protein or replace mozzarella with feta for a tangy twist. This salad is perfect as a side dish or light main course.
