- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the cubed bread, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese into the egg mixture, stirring until evenly mixed.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving; it’s best enjoyed warm!
Notes
Feel free to swap the sausage with veggies or bacon for a different flavor profile. You can also prepare this ahead of time by assembling it the night before and baking in the morning.
