Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; a few lumps are fine.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Glazing
- For the maple glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and maple syrup in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled bread.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze slices individually wrapped for up to 3 months.
