Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until well combined. Set aside.
- In another bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or honey, and store leftovers tightly wrapped at room temperature for up to three days. Freeze slices for up to three months.
