- While the tomatoes roast, lay your sliced baguette on another baking sheet. Drizzle or brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
Assembly
- Once the bread is ready and the tomatoes are bursting with flavor, spread a generous layer of ricotta cheese on each crostini, followed by spoonfuls of roasted tomatoes.
- Finish by tearing fresh basil and scattering it over the crostini. The dish is now ready to be savored!
