Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes Economical yet tender when grilled.
Marinade
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced The more the merrier!
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped Substitute with dried if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetables (optional)
  • Bell peppers, red onion, and cherry tomatoes For vibrant color and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the steak cubes in a resealable plastic bag or a bowl and pour the marinade over the steak.
  3. Seal or cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat your grill to medium-high and soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.
  5. Thread marinated steak and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between meat and vegetables for a colorful presentation.
Cooking
  1. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  2. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently in a skillet.
