Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Toss until the apples are well coated.
  3. Transfer the apple mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the topping generously over the apple mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
  7. Cool slightly before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
