Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and core the apples, then slice them into thin wedges. Arrange them in a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Add the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Allow the apple crumble to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 20 minutes.
