- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the egg noodles.
