Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces Use thawed steak for best results
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved For firmer potatoes, check doneness earlier
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter (melted) Melt before pouring over ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Adds depth of flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust seasoning near end of cooking
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) Add before serving for freshness

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the steak bites and halved potatoes in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the melted garlic butter and Worcestershire sauce over the beef and potatoes.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir to combine and coat the ingredients.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the steak is tender and potatoes are cooked through.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra browning and flavor, consider searing the steak bites before adding them to the slow cooker. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for 2-3 months.
