Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet, stirring just until combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dollops of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
Baking
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
