- In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and lightly golden. Be cautious not to burn it.
- Toss in the garlic scapes and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Drizzle the soy sauce over the scapes and add the red pepper flakes if using. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds on top for an added crunch and garnished presentation.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy warm.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat gently.
